MAHATET 2024 and 2025 – Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted by the Maharashtra State Council Of Examination – MSCE, as the eligibility test for aspirants interested in the post of a teacher in government and private schools in the state.

The MAHATET – Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test comprises of two Papers – I and II.

  • Candidates seeking eligibility for a job as a teacher for primary classes I to V in the state of Maharashtra must apply for paper I.
  • Candidates seeking eligibility for a job as a teacher for elementary level classes VI to VIII in the state of Maharashtra must appear for paper II.
  • Candidates may also appear for both papers and upon clearing, will be eligible for teaching classes I to VIII in schools in the state of Maharashtra

The MAHATET 2024 and 2025 is only a qualification test; and not a selection exam. Candidates need to apply for specific jobs as and when advertised and may have to go through other selection processes as applicable.

In this article, we will look at the official and the detailed syllabus for Child Development and Pedagogy – CDP part of the Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test – Papers I and II.

Child Development and Pedagogy – CDP will consist of 30 questions (MCQs) out of the 150 questions in both Papers 1 and 2 of the Maharashtra MAHATET 2024 and 2025.
