This article contains important instructions from the NTA for candidates attending the NCHM JEE 2020 Exam on the date and venue of Test Centre as indicated on your Admit Card downloaded from NTA’s website.

Information to check and reconfirm

1. Download your NCHM JEE 2020 Admit Card well in advance, from the NTA’s website 

2. Check following as indicated on the NCHM JEE 2020 Admit Card

  • Reporting Time at Centre
  • Gate Closing time of Centre
  • Date of Examination
  • Timing of the Test
  • Venue of Test

Arriving at the venue of the NCHM JEE 2020 Exam

You should visit the NCHM JEE Examination Centre, a day or two before the examination and familiarise yourself with the location and means of reaching the venue of the Test on time.

Reach the venue of the Test before the Reporting Time mentioned in the Admit Card. If you report beyond the Gate Closing time of Centre, you will not be allowed to enter the Test venue. Since there may be several pre-examination formalities need to be completed, it is advisable to reach the venue well in advance.

Essential & Allowed Documents at the NCHM JEE 2020 Exam hall

Only following items are allowed to be carried inside the Examination Centre :

  • NCHM JEE Admit Card downloaded from the NTA Website (a clear preferably colour printout on A4 size paper).
  • One Passport size photograph (same as uploaded with the Online Application Form) to be pasted on the Attendance Sheet at the Centre.
  • A valid Photo ID Proof in ORIGINAL (PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ E- Aadhaar/ etc.).
  • PwD certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if claiming the relaxation under PwD category.


Note: ID Cards issued by Schools/ Colleges/ Universities/ Coaching Centres, AADHAAR enrolment receipt without AADHAAR NUMBER and PHOTOCOPIES OR Images Stored in mobile phones etc. will NOT be accepted. Candidates would not be allowed to enter the Examination Centre, without identity verification]

Candidates are NOT allowed to carry Instruments / Geometry boxes / Pencil box, Handbag, Purse, any kind of Paper/ Stationery/ Textual material (printed or written material), Eatables and Water (loose or packed), Mobile Phone/ Ear Phone/ Microphone/ Pager, Calculator, Slide Rules, Log Tables, Camera, Tape Recorder, to wear/carry any type of watch including Electronic Watches with facilities of calculator, any metallic item or electronic gadgets/ devices in the Examination Hall/Room.

There may not be any provision for safe keeping of valuables at the NCHM JEE Exam Centre. You should avoid carrying your mobile phone and other valuables to the exam center.

Diabetic or Asthmatic and PwD Candidates

Candidates with Physical Disability are requested to report early for facilitation during entry.

Diabetic students will be allowed to carry eatables like sugar tablets/fruits (like banana/apple/orange) and transparent water bottle to the Examination Hall/Room. However, they will not be allowed to carry packed foods like chocolates/candy/sandwich etc.

If you need to keep any essential medications handy with you (e.g. Inhalers for Asthmatic candidates), you should have the proper prescriptions and a certificate from your doctor with you. Prior permission from the authorities at the exam venue will be required. So arrive early and ensure that the formalities are completed.

Rough work sheets for NCHM Exam

Pen and blank paper sheets for rough work will be provided in the examination Hall/Room. Candidates must write their name and Roll Number at the top of the sheet, and must return the sheets and Admit Card to the Invigilator, before leaving the examination Hall/Room.

To ensure strict confidentiality, integrity and fairness in the examination, no Candidate should adopt any unfair means, or indulge in any unfair examination practices as the examination centres are under surveillance of CCTV and equipped with Mobile Signal Jammers.
